During my recent stay at the Renaissance in Des Moines for a corporate retreat, I was impressed by the available business amenities and overall efficiency that the hotel offers to business travelers. With 12,451 square feet dedicated to conference and meeting spaces, it provided ample room for our various sessions. The check-in process was notably swift; within 45 seconds, I had my room key in hand, thanks to a friendly staff member who also offered great dining recommendations. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, featuring a king bed with an assortment of pillows that ensured a good night’s sleep—crucial for those long working days. The hotel’s complimentary shuttle service was extremely convenient, effortlessly connecting us to the nearby HyVee Center and local attractions. As a solo traveler, the proximity to restaurants and nightlife was a bonus, and I always felt secure walking around. Lastly, I found the dining options satisfactory, with breakfast being generous, although on the pricier side compared to other local establishments. Renaissance stands out for business travelers seeking efficiency and convenience in a comforting setting.
